Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against DuPont After Tree Deaths

A class action law suit has been filed by the Simon Law Firm in Wisconsin against DuPont on behalf of homeowners and the lawn care professionals who treated their lawns with an herbicide called Imprelis. The lawsuit alleges that DuPont marketed Imprelis to the residential lawn care industry as an excellent choice for any weed management program, boasting about the unprecedented levels of broadleaf weed control it provided. However, property owners soon noticed that trees located within the vicinity of the applications were dying, Norway Spruce and White Pine varieties in particular. The Plaintiffs in the suits are seeking damages and other monetary relief.

The Simon Law Firm is also investigating potential claims for LCOs (businesses who applied Imprelis based on Dupont’s representations about the product.)

If you have experienced adverse results from the use of Imprelis or purchased Imprelis from Dupont, applied it to lawns, and now are worried that you will be sued for problems caused by the product, please contact The Simon Law Firm
