DeForest, Wisconsin Nuisance Ordinance Lawful

By October 13, 2014May 14th, 2020No Comments

The DeForest Times-Tribune has reported that the Village’s beefed-up Nuisance Ordinance is legal, and can be used to impose harsher penalties for repeat nuisance offenders, including fines “upwards of $25,000.” Residents have complained about odors they believe emanate from a grease recycling and biodiesel plant run by Sanimax.

I do not currently represent anyone in Wisconsin. I have represented over a thousand similarly situated people around the country in various odor nuisance and landfill litigation.
