Broward is reporting that the Coconut Creek, Florida landfill, run by Waste Management, is trying to win waste contracts while being hit with dozens of violations for not controlling the odors permeating into nearby neighborhoods. Coconut Creek, Florida has set up a hotline for residents to contact if they smell odors on their property. Concerned residents have also set up a Facebook page. Other local activists have also posted stories on the issue.

While I do not currently represent anyone at this site, I currently represent hundreds of similarly situated people around the country in various landfill and waste facility odor nuisance cases. I have also represented hundreds of individuals in landfill odor cases in the Florida Panhandle. I work with Zak Johnson of Zakariah Johnson, PLLC, who is a Florida licensed attorney and former Florida Department of Environmental Protection landfill inspector.
