The Simon Law Firm recently held its seventh annual Seminar to Benefit Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. The event has been hosted each year by Amy Gunn, an accomplished personal injury and medical malpractice attorney of The Simon Law Firm. Attorneys in attendance earned CLE credit, with the proceeds benefiting Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. The seminar has raised over $70,000 to date.
Speakers discussed different stages of trial practice. Guest speakers were Judge Barbara W. Wallace of the 21st Judicial Circuit, St. Louis County, Judge Henry E. Autrey of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri, and a number of prominent St. Louis area attorneys. Erich Vieth and John Campbell, class action attorneys of The Simon Law Firm, both presented on their extensive experience in appellate practice. Mr. Vieth spoke about the importance of having precise, clean arguments before beginning to write a brief. Mr. Campbell shared his “pool rule” – everything necessary to understand a brief should be found in one packet small enough to bring to the pool.
The Simon Law Firm would like to thank all those who attended and helped make this year’s seminar a success.
