We’d like to share a link to the “Well-Being Toolkit for Lawyers and Legal Employers.” This informative guide was created for use by the American Bar Association and is aimed at assisting employers of attorneys. It is available online, free of charge. In one of our podcasts (The Jury is Out), we discussed this Toolkit with Ann Chambers of the Missouri Lawyers Assistance Program (MOLAP). Ann highly recommended the Toolkit for attorneys, many of whom periodically seek suggestions for dealing with the stress of their profession. The Toolkit is organized around a six-part definition of “well-being, that includes:

1. Occupational
2. Emotional
3. Physical
4. Intellectual
5. Spiritual
6. Social

We encourage attorneys to check out this ABA resource as part of their research in their efforts to maintain their well-being.
