$3M judgment in e-scooter accident
A Clayton man was severely injured while riding an e-scooter in a bike line after crashing on gravel that was placed there without a permit and with no safety signage or barriers by a pool contractor. With the help of Simon Law attorney Kevin Carnie Jr., he was awarded over $3 million.
Plaintiff obtains multimillion dollar award in e-scooter crash
A St. Louis jury awarded over $3 million to Jason Wheeler after he was seriously injured in an e-scooter crash caused by gravel negligently left in a bike lane by MDB Construction Services. The company did not have a permit to place the gravel there and did not have safety warnings in place to alert cyclists of the danger.
