Firm attorney Johnny Simon was featured in a Fox 2 article about the deadly Russian roulette-style shooting of St. Louis police officer Katlyn Alix. The article reflects one year after the tragic event on January 23, 2019 in which Alix was fatally shot in the chest while off duty by her colleague Nathaniel Hendren, who was on duty at the time. Her mother remarks: “I just wish I could turn back time to a year ago.”
Alix’s mother and other family members have enlisted the help of Johnny Simon at The Simon Law Firm to seek justice from the city of St. Louis for this tragedy.
“…should the victim’s family bear all of the costs that result from the reckless actions of an on-duty police officer for the city of St. Louis, or should the city of St. Louis, who selected, hired, trained, and supervised the police officer bear the cost of his on-duty decisions? These are the ultimate questions confronting this court.” – Johnny Simon
