Biography

Mary Simon describes her approach to the law in one word: Relentless.

She learned it early on growing up in a family of attorneys – how to be unafraid to challenge assumptions or opposition and how to handle adversaries with conviction. She sat in depositions as a little girl and watched cases unfold from preparation through verdict. In those moments, Mary saw the impact that dignified, determined advocacy can have on people’s lives.

As a trial lawyer at Simon Law, Mary handles catastrophic injury cases involving trucking and motor-vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, birth injuries, and defective or dangerous products. She prepares every case with precision and presence. She’s known for turning complicated issues into compelling stories juries can understand.

Her results reflect that approach. Mary secured a $27.5 million verdict on behalf of a young man injured in a motorcycle collision and a $10 million verdict in a maternal birth-injury case.  She has also obtained multi-million-dollar recoveries through settlement, including a recent $10 million trucking-related traumatic brain injury case and $7 million in a medical malpractice case.

Missouri Lawyers Media named Mary an Up & Coming Lawyer in 2025, and she has been selected to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America.
