Biography

Jeremiah “Jer” Nixon is a trial lawyer and class-action attorney who represents plaintiffs, consumers, businesses, and shareholders in high-stakes litigation. His practice focuses on class actions, complex business disputes, data privacy, antitrust, consumer protection, and corporate misconduct cases. He regularly takes on large companies and institutions in cases involving systemic wrongdoing and widespread harm.

Jer is a trial-tested litigator. In 2025, he represented plaintiffs in a case involving more than 400 shareholders in a St. Louis County jury trial that resulted in a $55.4 million verdict, one of Missouri’s highest verdicts that year. Jer’s background gives him a practical advantage in complex civil litigation. He began his career at one of St. Louis’s largest law firms, where he was a member of the firm’s business litigation practice group and represented a wide range of clients as both plaintiffs and defendants. He then served as a prosecutor in the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office, where he tried cases to juries and developed courtroom judgment. Before joining Simon Law, he practiced at a complex litigation firm in Chicago, where he focused on plaintiff-side class actions and high-stakes litigation.
