ST. LOUIS, MO – Two of Simon Law’s podcasts have been named finalists for a People’s Choice Podcast Award.
The Jury is Out and Heels in the Courtroom are among the Top 10 finalists in the Education Category.
Voting is now underway among 20,500 randomly selected listeners and podcasters.
Winners will be announced during the 20th Annual People’s Choice Podcast Awards live-stream event on International Podcast Day at 8 p.m. EST September 28 on PodcastAwards.com.
“We couldn’t be more honored to be named finalists in this category for this award,” said John G. Simon, founder of Simon Law and host of The Jury is Out. “When we launched these podcasts, one of our goals was to have them serve as a way educate the legal community through our experiences.
“That’s why it is even more humbling to be named as a finalist in the Education category.”
Attorney Liz Lenivy leads the Heels in the Courtroom podcast for Simon Law.
“We are so grateful to our loyal listeners as well as our incredible guests for all of their support through the years,” Lenivy said. “Our goal with this podcast was create a community where not only fellow female attorneys and other professionals could learn from us and our experiences, but where we could learn from each other.
“This is the podcast we wish we had when we were in law school, or just getting started, so being named a finalist in the education category is such an honor for us.”
Both of the Simon Law podcasts launched five years ago and have included nationally recognized guests, who add depth and vision to the lively and inspiring discussions.
