According to Breastcancer.org, there are approximately 3 million women in the United States who are living with breast cancer. It is estimated that doctors prescribe Taxotere to about 75% of these patients and that both were never warned of the drug’s potentially disfiguring side effects. Taxotere (Docetaxel) is a chemotherapy drug used to treat a variety of cancers and is a particularly popular choice for the treatment of breast cancer. Taxotere was shown to extend the survival of patients better than other drugs, however, it has also been linked to alopecia.
